Welcome, 2014!

I don’t believe in New Year’s resolutions! Not one bit. I always thought that if someone needs to wait until January 1st of the following year to be able to start doing something positive for themselves, then they are probably not determined enough to do it. Hence so many broken New Year’s resolutions out there, right? If you want to change your life, do it NOW. Not starting fresh tomorrow, not starting fresh on Monday, not starting fresh next year. NOW!

Unless, like for me, your ‘now’ happens to be on New Year’s Day! My ‘now’ is today. It happens to be 01/01/2014, but I know it could have been any other day of the year. I didn’t wait for it for the past couple of months, today just happens to be the day I am writing here for the first time! And jeez, am I excited! So if today happens to be the day you decided to make a positive change in your life, for YOU, not for the sake of the New Year – GOOD ON YOU!!! I would love to hear about it!

This blog will take you on a journey of my heart and soul, while, I hope, helping you discover yours. I am a stay at home mum of three children 5yo and under. I strive to be an awesome and fun mum, while doing my best to provide a loving and nurturing home for my family, staying tidy and organised, and above all… staying sane! I face challenges just like any other woman does, but I believe that sharing both our positive and negative experiences will helps us grow together and learn from each other.

I hope to be able to make your lives easier with cleaning and organisation posts, budget friendly, tasty, gluten-free recipes, as well as sharing our family’s journey through every day obstacles and how we keep our heads above the water. This year will be a learning curve for myself also, as it is the first year I will be home schooling full time – my eldest is starting pre-primary and my 3yo will be doing kindy. So we have many exciting and fun times ahead!

Welcome and enjoy!
