Today was a beautiful, sunny day!
I love spring!
I love that the days are finally heating up, I love the blooming flowers and blossoming trees in our garden, but I especially I love the fact that summer is on its way!
This is the last weekend of school holidays where we live, which does not matter too much as we home school, so we get to spend quality time together all year round. For that, I am truly grateful. I do take some time out during the school holidays though, letting the kids do their thing more so than usually. The holidays also mean that the kids get to catch up with all their friends that are at school, which is fantastic!
We enjoyed every bit of the past two weeks, with family visiting, birthday parties, last minute catch ups, sleepovers, arts and crafts and gardening, to name a few. The kids had a ball, and so did I. The most exciting part of it all is, that I finally started writing! See? I’m writing this blog entry, but I also started writing the contents of this website! So stay tuned! It is still work in progress, and probably will be for a few months… but I am so excited to have finally made a start!
